Poems for the Eighties

, edited by Roger Robinson

This slim collection of nine poems by five poets has become a collector's piece, a small landmark book that pointed the way to the various directions poetry was to take in the subsequent decades. The poets are Fleur Adcock, Lauris Edmond, Sam Hunt, Bill Manhire, C.K. Stead.

It was produced as a souvenir of the festive and influential conference, "New Zealand Writing 1959-1979." The poems were published here for the first time.

Paper cover, stapled, 16 pages, limited edition, US$8, free shipping. Not otherwise available.
